GREEN BRIDGE AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE — HOSTING SETUP
================================================
1. Upload all files in the ZIP. Back up your existing live site first.
2. Confirm your host has PHP 8.1+ with PDO_SQLITE.
3. In Namecheap cPanel > Cron Jobs, create ONE daily task at an off-peak time.
   Set the command to:
   /usr/local/bin/php -f /home/YOUR_CPANEL_USER/public_html/maintenance.php
Replace the path with the real absolute path to maintenance.php.
Your PHP binary path may differ. Ask your host if needed.
4. Ensure PHP can write to private/ and private/backups/ and private/temp/.
5. Test ONCE using cPanel Terminal or SSH:
   /usr/local/bin/php -f /home/YOUR_CPANEL_USER/public_html/maintenance.php
6. Verify the admin panel's Maintenance section shows a successful run.
7. Verify private/ and its backup files cannot be accessed via the web.
8. Download an off-server backup periodically. These local backups are not
protection against hosting account loss or disk failure.

POLICY
- Daily database snapshot (verified via SQLite integrity_check).
- 14-day local backup rotation. Existing nonmatching files never deleted.
- Only admin-uploaded orphan image files older than 30 days are deleted.
- Only private/temp regular files older than 7 days are deleted.
- SQLite PRAGMA optimize daily; backup snapshot compacted via VACUUM INTO.
- Business data (quotes, partners, products, invoices) never auto-deleted.
- No automatic RFQ deletion, because retention policy has not been set.
- No cron setup = no automatic maintenance; uploading alone does not schedule.
- Script is CLI-only and blocked by Apache access rules.
- Hosting security, HTTPS, and backups still require administration.
